Studio Hours Update

We are open Thursday - Sunday from noon - 8 pm. We are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our Wheel and Handbuilding sessions can be booked for Saturday and Sunday. We can sometimes accomadate bookings outside of our regular hours. Please contact us if you have a special request.

Fire Escape is a walk in Pottery Painting Studio. We have a large assortment of ready to paint pottery. Paint in a relaxed, supportive and creative atmosphere. We can accommodate groups of five or less on a walk-in basis. For larger numbers please call ahead.

Fire Escape can come home with you! Our CPR kit (Ceramic Painting Rescue kit) has all the right stuff to help resuscitate any of your at home

painting plans. Perfect for parties, weekend getaways, or self-care. The kit can be provided when you purchase a minimum of 4 ready to paint pottery  items.

Fire Escape can comfortably host private parties of 10 to 30 people! Whatever the occasion: Team Building, Company Events, Birthday Parties, Wedding showers -the list is almost endless. For your next party come and create something unique and lasting.

Fire Escape Studio now has  pottery wheels! We can do 2 hour orientation session for singles and pairs. Try out one of the oldest and most enduring art forms. We will fire your piece, or pieces and you can come back and paint your  finished work.  Please note Wheel bookings are available Saturday and Sunday. Contact us to book.

Creativity can be portable with our CPR kit!

Fire Escape can come home with you! Our CPR kit (Ceramic Painting Rescue kit) has all the right stuff to help resuscitate any of your at home painting plans. It's great for the outdoors, or at the cottage.  Visit us in studio to check out our selection and pick up your painting kit. The kits come in 2 sizes: The large is for 6 or more pieces of pottery. It normally costs $44 firing fee, plus pottery and a refundable $50 rental deposit. The small kit is good for 1 - 5 pottery items. It normally costs $22 firing fee, plus pottery and a refundable $25 rental deposit.
